Florence 39 had a large household to manage. There were four daughters, a sister-in-law, Alice Townshend 33, and two helpers, Florence Mary Seal 34 governess and Evelyn Budd 15, servant. The daughters were Dora ten, Margery eight, Kathleen six and Nina ten months. Ernest's sister Alice was a dressmaker.
