1881: Henry Mannan was still with the family. They continued to live in the same family home in St Aubin, Folligny House. Louisa was now 64 and her brother 60. The children at home were Mary 26, Lydia 24 and Alfred 21. Mary was a governess, and Alfred had followed his father's trade to become a butcher.

1891: Henry Mannan, tailor, had returned to his home town of St Aubin in the parish of St Brelade. He was living with his two sisters, Minnie, a school teacher; and Lydia, living from her own means.
