..."I knew Uncle Miles ‎[Marlin]‎ married Bess Kayhill from Pomeroy. Also Uncle Miles ‎[no, Marlin]‎ is buried in California. He died after 1947 because he lived in Lancaster while I was going to High School. I went to their house for lunch every day. Aunt Bess died in Lancaster after the war and is buried at Forest Rose C. Then Uncle Marlin and the boys George Edward, Dick, Harry moved to Chicago Ill to live with Dick and his war bride ‎(Irish)‎. Her name was Letty. Then Harry went to Calif to teach in a college. He took Uncle Marlin with him. He died there and so Harry could not send him back here to Forest Rose. He said he could not afford it. I always thought that was sad. That left Aunt Bess all by herself. I really loved Aunt Bess & Uncle Marlin. They were always so good to me. They were the ones that brought my family to Lancaster."
