Shared Note

Shirley and Una Boase were great friends. Una used to speak very fondly of Shirley.
Stephen Walker was a well known Australian artist and sculptor. He and Shirley lived in Lavender Bay, Sydney, for some time.
It was said that Steve had painted a full size nude of Shirley which hung in thje hallway of their home.
One of Steve's most prominent works is the Tank Stream Fountain ‎(1981)‎ at Circular Quay, Sydney.
After their divorce he moved to Tasmania. Shirley stayed on in Sydney until quite late in her life when she moved back to Adelaide.
