Kamchatka Peninsula

Kamchatka Peninsula is as far from the Russian Czars that you can possibly get whilst not leaving the country. It is icy, harsh, mountainous with many volcanoes and hot springs. The people are naturally tough but hospitable nevertheless. Still the best caviar!
